Port Hope Idyll

 

Yesterday we met in Janice's lovely and peaceful garden. The weather turned out to be perfect for driving, and for sitting outside in the shade. Jane made the very tasty salads and chicken. And as usually we swooned over the desserts. The book London Falling, provided food for thought and conversation. Thank you Janice and Jane for a memorable afternoon in Port Hope. 

We will meet next month at Jo's.  The book will be John of John by Douglas Stewart.  This will be on Wednesday, September 9.  

The following month we will meet at my place (Marian) to talk about Daughters of the Bamboo Grove by Barbara Demick - Wednesday, October 5.
